The short version: here is what you can expect from Flare, and what we expect from you.
You can use Flare to connect a wallet, explore the network and take part in community decisions. You are responsible for keeping your wallet and recovery phrase safe.
Anyone who has your recovery phrase can move your funds. Keep it offline, never type it into a website you did not open yourself, and never send it to anyone — including someone who says they are Flare support.
Flare is a non-custodial network. We never take control of your funds and we never move them for you. You keep full control of your wallet and your recovery phrase at all times.
Flare splits your key into pieces and spreads them across many computers around the world. You need the right pieces, in the right order, to put your wallet back together.
Some parts of the network are decided by community votes. When you use the network you agree to follow the decisions the community approves, including changes to fees and network settings.
The network and this site are provided as-is. We do not promise a specific uptime, price or result, and we cannot promise that the service will be available every time you need it.
We are not responsible for losses caused by your own actions, by anything you shared with us, or by problems outside our control.
If you have a question about anything on this page, our support team is happy to help. Just use the chat bubble in the corner of the screen.
